What is the Difference Between Polyurethane Condoms and Latex Condom and How to Use Them?

The latex condom and the polyurethane condom are both as effective in preventing pregnancy and SIDs. If the use of a condom is inconsistent or used incorrectly; the latex condom is still the best in prevention.

Polyurethane condoms are less likely to fit correctly, therefore; making the fix loosely, and they are more likely to slip off or even break.

This does however make latex condoms a better choice, if there are no allergies to latex. That doesn’t mean that polyurethane condoms aren’t a good condom. It is that latex has a better fit.
